Welcome to the web site of First Presbyterian Church of Shelbyville, Tennessee.

It is my pleasure along with Associate Pastor Lindsey Wade as the ministers of this wonderful Congregation and on behalf of the Session to welcome you to our web site.  I invite you to learn more about us through this website or if you are in the area to join us for worship or Christian Education or fellowship. We are proud of our rich history, founded in 1815 as a congregation but we are not stuck in that rich past as we are building on that heritage. We believe that is God inspiring us for the future to become a connected community of servants to our brothers and sisters in our community and the world. We worship on Sunday mornings at 8:45 and 11:00. Church school is from 9:45 to 10:45. Our youth group meets Sunday evenings at 5:00. Wednesday evenings, during the school year, we meet for Children’s activities at 5:00, Adult and Youth Bible Studies at 5:15, children’s choir at 5:30, dinner at 6:00, and Adult choir at 6:30. Join us on our journey with Christ Jesus.
